I use the mouse to move. When it comes to PC games, I'm more used to it from Diablo, Baldurs Gate, Neverwinter Nights, etc.

I use both at the same time. Right hand on mouse, left on Keyboard.

You don't even have to disable it, just don't do it.

The problem is that humans will make mistakes and disabling something keeps one fro doing that.
I disabled it when I first started playing because I targeted enemies with the mouse and it was easy to miss one and have a squishy run into the battle. Now I use the keyboard for targeting (it would feel strange to target with the mouse now) but I made an effort to change to doing that.
For the most part you shouldn't have to adapt to an interface, the interface should adapt to you. Of course there is only so far an interface can adapt with our current knowledge of design/implementation (and I don't know that I ever see a truly 100% adaptable interface happening). However disabling "click-to-move" is easy to do and is quite good they included it as it isn't something many are used too. This is true especially given that click-to-move isn't standard and many would rather it not be there.
I haven't thought about it in ages, but since I no longer use the mouse to target I think I will re-enable it. The main problem I had with it is no longer there and I think I would find it useful more often than I would find it irritating.

I use both. Watched a kid use WASD and the mouse. Figured out it was much better than how I had been playing.
A bitch to relearn though... finally had to turn the arrow keys off.

Usage of both equals a strong and unpredictable playstyle.
